Sheikh Abu-AbdulRahman:

also known as Dr. Nabil Zahr (May Allah Preserve him) is one of the prominent Islamic scholars of his time. Born in Egypt, he memorized the Qur'an at an early age and studied under some of the most knowledgeable scholars of his time including: Shiekh Muqbil bin Haadee al-Waadi’ee, and Sheikh 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Baaz (May Allah Grant them Mercy).

Beside the above mentioned scholars, Sheikh Abu-AbdelRahman received his education from Al-Azhr University and Aien Shams University - School of Medicine

As a practicing physician in Egypt and Kuwait, Sheikh Abu AbduRahman dedicated his free time to spread the authentic knowledge of the religion of Allah. Sheikh Abu AbdulRahman was an Imam and teacher of a great number of students from inside and outside Egypt and Kuwait which studied Hadith, Fiqh, Aqeedah, Tafsier, and Sieerah under him. He currently teaches at the Islamic Heritage Center, which he founded in 2001. As Imam of the Center he gives daily lectures. Some of the books that have been explained within these lectures are listed below. He is known for his own unique style of interpretation and explanation of religious points.

In giving religious verdicts, Sheikh Abu AbduRahman’s Fataawa (i.e., rulings/verdicts) are based on the Manhaj of Ahlu Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah, which is evidenced from Qur'an and Sunnah, based upon the understanding of the Companions of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) and their righteous followers.
