Children’s Ruqyah

Ruqyah for Children from the Evil Eye and Envy

Praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.

Children are a great blessing, and from the mercy of Islam is that it taught parents how to protect their children with adhkar, du'a, and Islamic ruqyah. The evil eye is real, but parents should not live in constant fear or explain every cry or illness as evil eye or envy.

Evidence

Evidence for Seeking Protection for Children

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek protection for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn, may Allah be pleased with them, by saying:

I seek protection for you both in the perfect words of Allah from every devil, every poisonous creature, and every harmful eye.
Repeat: said for protection and seeking refuge

Narrated by Al-Bukhari.

The meaning of hammah is every poisonous creature or harmful thing. The meaning of 'ayn lammah is an eye that causes harm.
